KUBERNETES AND CONTAINERS

Kubernetes when it suits you — and we tell you when it doesn't

Start with a free assessment: we evaluate whether your workloads really need Kubernetes or whether a simpler option serves you better. We define the path and a fixed budget before you commit to anything.

Why do Kubernetes with iTechDev?

Honest about when NOT to use K8s

Kubernetes is not for everyone. If your workloads run better on managed containers, serverless or a simple app, we tell you. We don't sell you complexity you don't need.

Managed cluster, properly configured

We set up AKS or EKS with good practices for networking, RBAC, namespaces and secrets — with Helm to package and deploy. With scope and a fixed budget before we start.

Autoscaling and everything as code

We configure pod and node autoscaling based on real load, and define the cluster with Terraform/Bicep and versioned manifests. No irreproducible manual configuration.

Your cluster, your property

The cluster, manifests, Helm charts and access are 100% yours from day one. We enable your team to operate it. No vendor lock-in.

What your container assessment includes (free)

A concrete deliverable you can use even if you decide not to implement it with us — even if the recommendation is not to use Kubernetes.

Assessment of your workloads and whether they really need Kubernetes
Honest recommendation: managed K8s, simple containers or serverless
AKS/EKS cluster design (networking, RBAC, namespaces, secrets)
Packaging and deployment strategy with Helm
Autoscaling and Infrastructure as Code plan
Scope estimate, phases and fixed budget

How it works

01

Reach out

Leave your details in the form or message us on WhatsApp. We reply during business hours.

02

Assessment session

We review your workloads, their traffic pattern, your team and your goals in a session with our engineers.

03

Deliverable + recommendation

We hand you the assessment with an honest recommendation (K8s or not), the design, phases and fixed budget.

04

Decide with data

You decide with real information. If we move forward, we start with phased delivery and demos.

Where are you with containers?

Frequently asked questions

Do you always recommend Kubernetes?

No. Kubernetes solves real scaling and orchestration problems, but it adds operational complexity that not every workload justifies. If a simpler option —managed containers, serverless or a well-built monolith— serves you better, we tell you in the assessment. We don't sell unnecessary complexity.

AKS or EKS?

It depends on where your ecosystem is: AKS if you work in Azure, EKS if you work in AWS. We offer managed Kubernetes on both clouds and recommend based on your applications, your team and your real constraints.

What is Helm and why do you use it?

Helm is the Kubernetes package manager: it packages your applications into versioned, repeatable charts, so deploying to different environments is consistent and auditable, instead of applying loose manifests by hand.

Does iTechDev keep operating my cluster?

Only if you want. We design and deliver the cluster so your team can operate it on its own, and we enable them. The cluster, charts and access are 100% yours. We work with CMMI Level 2 certified processes and nearshore operations in Monterrey + Texas.
