What it costs to build custom software — and how we give you a real number
Custom software is bespoke: the price depends on scope, so we do not sell you "closed-price packages". We give you something more honest: the base rate, reference ranges per project type, and a Blueprint that fixes your exact number in writing.
- Fixed budget in writing
- Code 100% yours
- Demos every 2 weeks
- Warranty 3 months
The only closed price: the Blueprint
One to two weeks of analysis that end in a defined deliverable: technical roadmap, architecture, a closed budget in writing and a dated timeline. That is why it has a fixed price — it is what produces your number. And it is yours even if you decide to build with someone else; if you move forward with us, it is 100% credited to the project.
For anyone who needs certainty and a number to defend to their board before committing to a large project.
- Technical roadmap
- Solution architecture
- Closed budget in writing
- Timeline with dates
Reference budget ranges per project type
To place the order of magnitude of your project. These are market reference ranges, not a closed quote: your real number comes from the Blueprint.
MVP / Launch
Validate an idea with a working product on a single platform (web or mobile).
- 1 platform (web or mobile)
- CI/CD from day 1
- Working demos every 2 weeks
- Code 100% yours
- 30-90 days of post-launch support
Custom Product
An enterprise web or mobile app with real business logic and standard integrations.
- 2-week sprints with demos
- Functional, load and security QA
- Staging accessible to your team
- Standard integrations (payments, email, CFDI)
- Code 100% yours
Platform / Integration
Mission-critical operation at scale: microservices, high concurrency and integration to your core systems.
- Microservices architecture
- Integration to ERP, CRM, SAT, banks and carriers
- High concurrency and availability
- DevOps, monitoring and runbook
- Code 100% yours
Dedicated Cell (nearshore)
Reinforce your team indefinitely with people who do not rotate.
- Monthly rate per profile and seniority
- Dedicated team that does not rotate
- Same time zone (CST) · USMCA
- Custom quote based on the profiles
- Code 100% yours
Market reference ranges, not a closed quote. The price of YOUR project depends on scope and is fixed in writing in the Blueprint. Prices in Mexican pesos, plus VAT, with CFDI invoicing.
What actually moves the price
If someone gives you a closed number without asking about these, they are making it up.
The real scope
How many screens, how many flows and how many business rules. It is the #1 factor and the widest gap between "I want an app" and what the app actually has to do.
Integrations (the #1 hidden cost)
Connecting to your ERP, CRM, the SAT, banks or carriers is where the budget nobody budgeted goes. A documented API is days; a legacy system with no API is weeks.
The state of your data and catalogs
Clean data migrates almost by itself; data in Excel with duplicates and no standard is cleaned by hand, and that is real work that has to be quoted.
Migration from your current system
Replacing a live system is not starting clean: you have to move balances, history and users without stopping operations.
How close your operation is to standard
What already exists is reused; what is unique to your business is built, and what is built is estimated with the Blueprint, not off the cuff.
We do not hand you a number out of thin air. We fix it in writing in the Blueprint.
Which range does your project fall into?
Answer three things about scope and we place the reference range. It is not a quote — it is so you know the order of magnitude before talking to us.
What do you need?
Answer the questions to see your reference range.
START
The only fixed-price product, because it is the one that produces the closed number. 100% credited to the project if you move forward.

Start with Fixed-Scope Blueprint
Three fields and we reach out with the next steps for your case. If you do not have the scope defined yet, we start with the Blueprint — which is exactly what closes it.

Contact us →Why do you not publish a closed price like for Odoo?
Because custom software is bespoke: every project is different and the cost depends 100% on scope. Publishing "fixed-price packages" for something not yet defined would be faking a number. What we do give you is the base rate ($600 MXN/hour), reference ranges per project type, and the Blueprint, which fixes your exact number in writing.
How much does an hour of software development cost?
Our base rate is $600 MXN/hour, and it drops with the volume of hours in the project: the bigger the hours commitment, the better the rate. The exact rate is fixed in the Blueprint based on project size. It is the same base rate our Odoo packages are derived from, so there is no contradiction between the two pages.
So are the ranges ($50,000–$200,000 and so on) my price?
No. They are reference ranges so you can place the order of magnitude of your project type, calibrated against projects we have delivered. Your real price depends on scope and is fixed in writing in the Blueprint. No serious partner gives you a closed number without seeing your scope first.
What is the Blueprint and why does it have a fixed price?
It is one to two weeks of analysis that produce a defined deliverable: technical roadmap, architecture, a closed budget in writing and a timeline. That is why it is a fixed-price product ($25,000–$45,000 MXN). And it is 100% creditable: if you move forward with the project, it is discounted.
Is the project budget fixed or hourly?
We work by the hour on the base rate, but once the Blueprint closes the scope, we hand you a fixed budget in writing for that scope. If scope changes, we quote it separately and you know beforehand, not mid-project.
Do I own the code and do you invoice with CFDI?
Yes to both. All code, documentation, access and environments are yours from the first commit, with no vendor lock-in. We invoice in Mexican pesos, plus VAT, with CFDI. We have an entity in Mexico (Monterrey and Guadalajara) and in Laredo, TX so you can contract in USD if you need to.
