Frequently asked questions
How much does a custom module cost?
It depends on scope, so we don't guess: first comes the technical analysis, MXN $7,500 + VAT, one week, fully credited to the project. That produces the module's fixed written price, with phases and dates.
What if what I'm missing is a standard Odoo module?
Then it is configuration, not development, and it has a published per-module price: for example Manufacturing MXN $9,100, Point of sale MXN $6,500, Helpdesk MXN $2,600, plus 10% project management and VAT. The full list is on our Odoo pricing page.
Can anything be built as an Odoo module?
Almost anything that is business logic can be modeled as a module (Python/XML/OWL). We first check whether your requirement can be solved with configuration, which is cheaper, and only develop what truly needs it.
Does it work on Odoo Online?
No. Per Odoo's documentation, Odoo Online does not accept custom modules or modules from the Apps Store. A custom module needs Odoo.sh or a self-hosted server; if you are on Odoo Online today, we tell you on the call what moving involves.
Does the module survive Odoo upgrades?
We build it for that: following Odoo's guidelines, without modifying the core and with code review. Each major Odoo version may require adjustments to the module; we tell you which ones and what they cost before you upgrade.
Is the module code mine?
Yes, 100%. The source code, the repository and access are yours from day one. If you ever work with another team, you take everything with you.
