A platform connecting customers with home service providers
We designed and built Hubbi’s platform —mobile app, web and backend— to connect customers with home service providers in a single, reliable place.
Hubbi is a centralized home-services platform: a meeting point where someone who needs a service (cleaning, maintenance, repairs and more) finds the right provider. To launch, they needed a solid technical foundation that could support both the customer side and the provider side.
The challenge
Connect customers and home service providers on a single, reliable platform, where a customer could find and hire the service they need, and a provider could offer and manage their work. That meant building a mobile app, a web app and a backend from scratch, keeping both sides in sync and working as one product.
What we built
Cross-platform mobile app
We built the mobile application with React Native, so both customers and providers access the platform from their phones with a single codebase for iOS and Android.
Web application
We built the web app with React to complement the mobile app and give an additional entry point to the platform from the browser.
Platform backend
We implemented the backend on Node.js and PostgreSQL as the core of the product: the layer that handles users, services and the logic that keeps customers and providers connected.
Customer–provider connection
We modeled the flow that joins the two sides of the platform —the customer’s request and the provider’s offer— so the match between them happens inside a single, reliable space.
End-to-end custom software
We worked with Hubbi as a software factory, from understanding their needs to building the product, turning their business vision into a working platform.
Outcome
“Their professionalism, technical expertise, and ability to quickly understand our needs impressed us.”
