1. What Are Cookies?

2. Measurement Tools We Use
To understand how the Site is used and improve it, we rely on three measurement tools. Each has a different purpose and a different approach to cookies:
- Plausible Analytics — web analytics self-hosted on our own server (analytics.itechdev.com.mx). It does not use cookies or collect personal data; it only produces aggregate, anonymous statistics (pages visited, duration, traffic source). For this reason it runs at all times, without requiring consent.
- Google Analytics 4 — provider Google LLC (United States). Measures browsing behavior on an aggregate basis and uses cookies (_ga, _ga_*). It is only loaded if you accept the consent banner.
- Microsoft Clarity — provider Microsoft Corporation (United States). It performs session recording and heatmaps: it reconstructs user interaction (clicks, scrolling and cursor movement), so it goes beyond anonymous aggregate analytics. It uses cookies (_clck, _clsk) and is only loaded if you accept the consent banner.
3. Consent Management
When you enter the Site we show a consent banner with the options "Accept" and "Reject":
- Plausible Analytics, as it uses no cookies and collects no personal data, is always active and does not require consent.
- Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity are only loaded if you click "Accept". If you click "Reject", these tools are not activated and their cookies are not installed.
Your choice is stored locally in your browser (local storage, key "itech-consent") and is not a tracking cookie. You can change your decision at any time by clearing the site data or cookies from your browser.
4. Specific Cookies and Storage
The following cookies and local storage may be set in your browser, depending on your consent:
- _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC). Distinguish users and sessions for analytics. Only after acceptance.
- _clck, _clsk — Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation). Identify the session for recording and heatmaps. Only after acceptance.
- itech-consent — local storage of our Site. Stores your consent preference (accept/reject). It is not a tracking cookie.
- Plausible Analytics — sets no cookies and uses no tracking storage.
Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity are third-party services. You can review their privacy policies at https://policies.google.com/privacy (Google) and https://privacy.microsoft.com (Microsoft).
5. How to Manage Cookies in Your Browser
In addition to our consent banner, you can manage cookies directly from your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies.
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies.
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Edge: Settings → Privacy → Cookies.
Note: clearing the Site storage will remove your consent preference, so the banner will appear again on your next visit.

This Cookie Policy may be updated periodically. Any changes will be published on this page, updating the last-updated date.
