We define the product goal, scope and stack with you, and build the team composition (profiles, seniority, QA, DevOps) and the PM/Scrum Master role. Deliverable: agreed squad composition and collaboration model.
Onboarding and kickoff
The squad starts with access, documented business context, your prioritized backlog and the ceremonies defined, to get into a delivery rhythm as soon as possible. Deliverable: an operational team with the backlog loaded and a defined sprint cadence.
Sprints and continuous delivery
The team works in sprints with agile ceremonies (planning, dailies, review, retro). You prioritize the backlog; we run the execution and deliver increments continuously. Deliverable: a demonstrable functional increment each sprint.
Reporting and visibility

With a dedicated team we deliver a complete squad —with its PM/Scrum Master, devs, QA and DevOps— that we manage: you set the vision and backlog, and the team owns running it and delivering. You do not manage individuals or carry the coordination overhead.
Is there a minimum team size?
A managed squad makes sense from a composition that allows delivery autonomy —typically several developers plus QA and the PM/Scrum Master management—, because below a certain size the dedicated-team model stops adding value over staff augmentation. We define the reasonable minimum composition with you based on your product and scope, without locking you into a fixed number blindly; if what you need is one or two specific profiles, we honestly recommend staff augmentation instead.
Who manages the team, you or us?
We manage it. The squad includes an iTechDev PM/Scrum Master who runs the ceremonies, coordinates the day-to-day and is your single point of contact. You focus on the vision, priorities and backlog; we take care of running the team and the delivery. That is precisely the difference from having to direct consultants one by one.
Who owns the code and intellectual property?
The code, deliverables and intellectual property are yours. The team works on your repositories, your infrastructure and your tools, and everything it produces belongs to you. We put it in writing in the contract before starting.
How is the team progress measured?
We work on your backlog in sprints with agile ceremonies (planning, dailies, review, retro) and give you visibility of progress through sprint reviews and periodic backlog status reports. We do not promise a guaranteed velocity or fixed delivery metrics blindly: we measure against the objectives we agree with you and keep transparency about what is delivered and what is pending.
How do I scale or shrink the team, and what happens if someone rotates off?
The squad is flexible: we add or reduce profiles, or reinforce QA or DevOps during a peak, as your roadmap evolves, without you setting up recruitment processes or taking on HR overhead. Because it is a dedicated, stable team, it accumulates context and documents what it builds, so if someone rotates off we manage the replacement within iTechDev with knowledge handover, to minimize the impact on your delivery. We do not commit to a fixed replacement timeline blindly, but the continuity of the team does not depend on a single individual.
