SAP Business One is SAP’s ERP for SMBs and mid-size companies: a single system for finance, purchasing, sales, CRM, inventory and production, on SAP HANA.

It is the natural step up when you have outgrown spreadsheets or a basic accounting system but do not yet need (or want to pay for) an enterprise S/4HANA. We specialize in manufacturing and distribution: inventory control across multiple warehouses and DCs, bills of materials and production orders, MRP, and traceability from quotation to delivery.

When you need it

Your SMB or mid-size company has grown beyond spreadsheets and a basic accounting system, and you need a real ERP that integrates finance, inventory and production.
You are in manufacturing or distribution and need inventory control across multiple warehouses/DCs, bills of materials, production orders and MRP in a single system.
You have double data entry between your accounting system, your inventory and your sales, with data that never reconciles and reports that arrive late.
You need to comply with the SAT — CFDI 4.0, payment complements, withholdings — without manual patches or loose files outside the ERP.
You are evaluating Business One vs. S/4HANA and need honest sizing based on your size, complexity and growth projection, without overpaying.
You want to extend Business One with add-ons or custom development (via the Service Layer / SDK) without breaking the standard or upgrades.

Business One or S/4HANA? Which suits me?

Business One is ideal for SMBs and mid-size companies (roughly 1 to 300 employees) with standard processes and a limited budget; it typically deploys in 8-12 weeks. S/4HANA is for larger companies with multiple plants, advanced manufacturing or complex regulatory requirements. The decision depends on your transaction volume, organizational complexity and 5-year growth projection. We do honest sizing before recommending.

How much does it cost and how long does it take to implement Business One?

As an estimate, a SAP Business One implementation for mid-size companies usually ranges from $500K to $2M MXN including licenses, implementation and training, and the typical project takes 8 to 12 weeks depending on module count, users and integrations. Licenses are paid perpetually or by subscription. We size precisely to avoid overspending and unnecessary licenses.

Does Business One comply with CFDI 4.0 and the SAT?

Yes, with Mexico localization. We configure CFDI 4.0, payment complements, withholdings, DIOT and SAT-aligned reports directly inside the ERP, without manual patches or loose files. It is one of the points where working with a team that knows Mexico’s fiscal reality adds the most value.

Is it suitable for manufacturing and distribution?

Yes, it is our focus. For manufacturing we configure bills of materials, production orders, MRP and costing with traceability from raw material to finished product. For distribution, inventory control across multiple warehouses and DCs, stock valuation, picking/packing and the full flow from quotation to delivery. When the standard falls short, we extend with add-ons or custom development.

Can it be extended or integrated with other systems?

Yes. We extend Business One with ecosystem add-ons and custom development via the Service Layer and SDK / DI API, without breaking the standard or upgrades. We also integrate it with e-commerce, CRM, banking or legacy systems to eliminate double data entry. The configuration and code we produce are your property, with no vendor lock-in.
