SAP S/4HANA

SAP S/4HANA implementation and migration before ECC end of support (2027)

We move your ERP to S/4HANA with the right path for your case — brownfield, greenfield or selective — and SAP Activate methodology. Clean core and Fiori from day one so you do not drag ECC technical debt into the new system. Demos every 2 weeks, verifiable deliverables and configuration and code that are 100% yours.

SAP S/4HANA is SAP’s next-generation ERP suite on the in-memory HANA database: real-time processes, a simplified data model and the Fiori user experience.

The decision to migrate has a deadline: mainstream support for SAP ECC 6.0 / Business Suite 7 ends in 2027 (with paid extended support through 2030), so after that there are no security patches or standard support. We do the implementation and migration with SAP Activate methodology and the path that makes sense for your landscape: brownfield (conversion of the existing system), greenfield (a fresh redesign with clean processes) or selective (selective transition, the best of both).

When you need it

You are still on SAP ECC and the 2027 end-of-support date is approaching: you need a migration plan before consultants get saturated and projects get more expensive.
You do not know whether your case calls for brownfield, greenfield or selective, and you need serious analysis before committing budget and timeline.
Your ECC carries years of Z objects and custom processes, and you want to use the migration to clean up technical debt instead of copying it into the new system.
You are starting SAP for the first time (greenfield) and want an S/4HANA implementation with standard processes and clean core from day one.
You are evaluating RISE with SAP or GROW with SAP and need to size licensing, infrastructure and scope without overspending.
Your users are still stuck in classic transactions and you want to use the migration to give them Fiori apps they will actually use.

What it includes

Assessment and path decision

Analysis of your landscape, data and custom code with SAP tools (Readiness Check, Custom Code Migration where it applies) to recommend brownfield, greenfield or selective with arguments, not by default.

Brownfield migration

Conversion of the existing ECC system to S/4HANA preserving history and configuration, with custom code remediation and process adjustment to the simplified S/4HANA model.

Greenfield implementation

A fresh implementation with standard fit-to-standard processes, clean core from the start and selective migration of the master data and balances you actually need.

Selective transition

A hybrid approach that migrates the data and processes worth keeping and redesigns the rest, useful when neither pure brownfield nor greenfield fits.

Data migration and validation

Cleanup, mapping and load strategy for master and transactional data, with reconciliation reports and validation prior to go-live so you do not migrate garbage.

Clean core and Fiori apps

Extensions on BTP instead of Z objects in the core, and Fiori apps (Elements or freestyle) that replace classic transactions and improve adoption.

Cutover, go-live and support

Cutover plan with a defined rollback, acceptance testing, controlled go-live and post-launch hypercare support to stabilize operations.

QA and documented handoff with ARIA

Functional, integration and regression testing backed by our internal ARIA platform, with documented configuration and code that is 100% yours.

How we work

1Prepare

We define scope, team, governance and work plan, set up the S/4HANA environments and run the Readiness Check to set the path (brownfield / greenfield / selective).

2Explore

We analyze as-is processes and design the to-be with fit-to-standard, identify gaps and decide build vs. configure, validated with your key users.

3Realize

Configuration, Fiori/ABAP development with clean core, integrations and data migration in 2-week sprints with continuous demos and validations.

4Deploy

Training, cutover plan, final data migration, acceptance testing and controlled go-live with a defined rollback plan.

5RunDeliverableconfiguration, code and runbook that are 100% yours

Post-go-live hypercare, performance monitoring, continuous optimization and an adoption roadmap, with the option to continue under AMS support.

When does SAP ECC support actually end?

SAP set the end of mainstream support for Business Suite 7 (which includes ECC 6.0) at 2027, with the option of paid extended support through 2030. After that window, there are no security patches or standard support except for special contracts at significant cost. That is why it pays to start the migration plan early: the closer the date, the more saturated and expensive consultants become.

Brownfield, greenfield or selective? Which suits me?

It depends. Brownfield (conversion) preserves your configuration and history and is faster, but drags technical debt if you do not remediate it. Greenfield (a new implementation) gives you clean processes and clean core, but means redesigning and takes more effort. Selective migrates what is worth keeping and redesigns the rest. We do not decide by default: we run the Readiness Check and analyze your custom code and processes before recommending, with arguments.

How long does an S/4HANA migration take?

As an estimate, a typical brownfield takes 6 to 12 months depending on module count, data volume and customization complexity; a greenfield can run 9 to 18 months as it involves redesigning processes. Critical factors are data cleanup, custom ABAP code remediation and training. We recommend starting at least 18 months before the support deadline.

What are RISE and GROW with SAP?

RISE with SAP is SAP’s offering that bundles S/4HANA Cloud, infrastructure and services into a subscription, aimed at companies migrating their existing ERP to the cloud. GROW with SAP targets new cloud implementations, typically for companies starting on S/4HANA Cloud public edition. We help you size which one fits your case, scope and budget, with no unnecessary licenses.

Do we own the configuration and code?

Yes, 100%. All configuration, Fiori/ABAP developments and BTP extensions are delivered documented and are your property, with no vendor lock-in. We apply clean core so your extensions live outside the standard and do not break future upgrades. We are a partner within the SAP ecosystem: the system lives inside your landscape, maintainable by any competent team.
